Radiantly Alive in Ubud, Bali is delighted to offer an 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training program led by master teacher Les Leventhal. This program is a great way to develop advanced skills to teach yoga or to take your personal practice to a deeper level. Les’ program meets Yoga Alliance requirements for 500-RYT when combined with 200-RYT. The course covers anatomy, asana, alignment, pranayama, philosophy, and sequencing. You will also assist and observe experienced teachers and learn how to observe, assess, and adjust students safely in asana poses.

Les’ extensive training with Ana Forrest, Max Strom, and Tias Little along with his own expressive style is embodied in this training to provide you with advanced training in the following:
- anatomy, philosophy, asanas
- assisting & adjustments
- teaching techniques
- sequencing with intention, peak poses & modifications for injuries
- providing direct feedback for your students
- finding the balance: classes to retreats, & workshops to trainings
Yoga with Les is a vinyasa/flow yoga practice. For many years, Les was one of San Francisco’s most popular and sought-after teachers. Nowadays, he lives in Ubud, Bali, and teaches around the world. Les’ classes, workshops, and video podcasts are filled with all the basic technique and alignment cues you will need to get your yoga practice and teaching started. A long-time student of Ana Forrest, and a graduate of several of her teacher training programs, Les has also assisted Ana with teacher training’s and studied many additional hours with her. He has also completed several training’s with Tias Little, from whom he has learned many of his alignment and technique cues. Tias has also provided him with a firm foundation in the Eightfold path of Buddhism, which brings a sense of grace and elegance to his asana practice. Les’ teaching is always inclusive, never exclusive, and accessible to students of any background.
Les’ yoga teaching will give you an opportunity to heal your heart, laugh, cry, dance, and simply let go. Some classes flow freely, while others explore longer holds. Many are accompanied by music. Les always offers students the opportunity to modify poses. When you learn to take better care of yourself, you can then take better care of those around you, a ripple effect that can gradually change the world.
UK-trained Osteopath, specializes in teaching human anatomy and movement principles to yoga students/teachers from around the world. Her mantra “educating and moving the world one body at a time” stems from over 24 years of hands on experience and 14 years of teaching.
Her passion to help others through touch and movement began while practicing sports therapy in the UK and Caribbean. As part of her natural progression Rachel studied for an honors degree from the British School of Osteopathy, where she graduated in 2000.
Since then, Rachel has practiced osteopathy, taught anatomy, osteopathic technique and other related workshops such as the importance of touch and cueing in the UK, New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia. Based in Bali, the healing capital of Asia, she travels to yoga schools across the globe to educate yoga students in the importance of human and functional anatomy encouraging them to develop their self-awareness, teaching and to enlighten others.
She combines her extensive knowledge of sports therapy, osteopathy, Pilates, yoga and experience into a unique interactive anatomy and movement class, that is both engaging and fun.
As word spread about her detailed holistic approach she has had the privilege to teach with internationally renowned yogis, including: Les Leventhal, Tara Judelle, Kaya Peters, Tanya Capps, Cat Kabira, Emily Kruser, Denise Payne, Bex Tyrer and Tina Nance.
MA.SE, MA.RS, MA.AS, has studied yoga and meditation for 30 years and taught both since 2001. He maintains a lively international teaching schedule and is the creator of both Prasana Yoga—a form that reveals alignment in movement—and Yoga Education through Imagery—lecture programming that teaches yoga’s traditions through archival imagery and new scholarship. He is an E-RYT 500 with two degrees in Art, and Masters Degrees in Education, Religious Studies and Asian Studies. 300HR Yoga Teacher Training
Radiantly Alive in Ubud, Bali
Prior teaching experience is a plus but not required. Trainees must have a passion for yoga and a desire to study deeply for the entire month. The program requires you to dedicate significant portions of time to your studies and you will frequently be at the studio for practice and lessons. It is of the utmost importance that you prepare ahead of time to ensure you have the time to dedicate for the month of the program.
Trainees will compose a 1-hour vinyasa class inclusive of the following:
- a theme/intention
- warm up & hot part
- peak pose(s)/peak sequence
- warm down/cool down
- may also include pranayama, music, and chanting
Trainees must then take their own class and write a review. This review must be submitted along with the entire class sequence.
Class sequence is to be submitted to email@example.com within one month of application approval for review, feedback & revisions.
All trainees are required to obtain & present their 60 Day Tourist Visa in advance for all Les Leventhal Bali teacher training programs.
Prior to registering, you must complete an application form, and complete your payment as follows:
- Tuition includes training and materials 6 days a week.
- Tuition cost does not include books, accommodation, food or airfare.
- Early Early Bird: $4200 (payment due in full by February 15th, 2017)
- Early Bird: $4400 (payment due in full by March 15, 2017)
- Standard Rate: $4600 (payment due in full by May 1st, 2017)
$1000 non-refundable deposit is due upon application.
